I don't think that's correct. Gates was a contributor to Clinton in both '92 and '96 if my memory serves me correctly. Nonetheless, I'd be surprised if it matters. Anyone remember the IRIDF national security "scandal" of a year or so ago? I'm more worried that they stay on schedule with the launches and execute their business plan, which I suspect they will do nicely.
