The Taliban themselves have pleaded for no more violence Lola. They want their country cleaned up. They want the sanctions lifted. They want their people to stop suffering. That is THEIR claim.

If the bottom line is, that the Taliban's mission is to destroy all non-beleivers, then we should be over there right now wiping them out. I am not convinced yet, unless someone can give me the proof, that the Taliban is backing Bin Laden's play. Bin Laden has declared war against the US. Bin Laden is our problem. The Taliban either put their backs to Bin Laden and let us do our job, in the right manner, or they face distinction.
