Has anyone really gauged how back AAPL's marketing is? The clone makers are having banner years and selling lots of hardware (we have been buying Power Computing because of AAPL's unability to deliver). The point is, two years ago this was the market plan: Get others making machines using Mac's OS. It happened. I have faith that there will continue to be some type of Mac platform around - regardless of whether or not AAPL makes it- but AAPL needs to resort what they had at the start: ISO-level, quality manufacturing (no 'junk" here), and meeting release dates. If not they will never compete in or for any market.
