Wharf; You've never heard me defend the NRA. NEVER! The NRA which was at one time a great organization has been taken over by those extreme right wing zealots and has become nothing more than a mouth piece for a particular political faction. In many parts of the country democrats are every bit as strong on protection of the second amendment and yet they usual end up on the NRA hit list. What sense does that make? The NRA really is an evil group in my mind. But years ago they made life members out of all the gun crazies which makes them - the life members - captive supporters of the NRA. ............There in no contradiction to the point that you can despise the NRA and believe in the second amendment.
