Chin up George,

TWG has circles and lines all over the place standing out on geological surveys of the electromagnetic sort. There are kimberlite outcrops everywhere. That makes this area a big potential diamond exploration site. Ekati was not built in a day,...and no one fiddled there, because it didn't burn. Lots of companies are piling into the area play around TWG now, for instance Bandore (see below).

Quality, not quantity. A hamster can provide a lot of excitement,...maybe even more than Raging bulls, a Stocking Watches (gggggggggggggggggg).

Mr. Wayne O'Connor reports
Band-Ore Resources has disclosed further information on the activities relating to the company's numerous properties situated in Northern Ontario and Northern Quebec.
Wawa, Ont. -- GQ property
A third drill hole completed near the original diamond discovery reported in Stockwatch on Feb. 22, 2000, has been sent for microdiamond analysis to the laboratories of Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. in Thunder Bay, Ont. Results from drill hole GQ-02 had one of the highest diamond counts from a small sample in Canadian diamond mining history. Diamond count results will be released upon receipt, which is expected within the next three weeks. A mechanical stripping, geological mapping and sampling program has commenced on the property and the company's independent diamond consultants will conduct a field visit this week. Several other exploration companies have active exploration programs underway in the Wawa camp including Tri Origin, Pele Mountain, Dumont Nickel, Diadem, Transco, Kennecott, Canabrava and the Magpie Syndicate.
Keglo Bay, Ungava, Que. -- diamond property
An airborne survey covering an area of 89 square kilometres is expected to be completed later this month, following with a field sampling program to commence in August. The sampling program will cover numerous structural trends similar to those that host know diamondiferous kimberlites on the Twin Mining property located approximately 10 kilometres to the north. Twin Mining is awaiting diamond results from five 10-tonne bulk samples taken earlier this year.

Swayze project -- base metal and gold project
Exploration interest in the area has intensified with the recent drill results of Prospectors Alliance Corporation. Drill hole assays results of 2 per cent zinc plus lead over 12.3 metres were recently reported, including narrower intercepts of 7 per cent zinc and 2.3 per cent lead. Band-Ore's 294-claim unit (11,000 acres plus) properties cover several kilometres of the Yeo formation, a mafic felsic contact in Osway, Yeo, Chester and Huffman townships which straddle Propectors Alliance's discovery. The property is located approximately 100 kilometres southwest of Timmins, Ont. In addition to this classic volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) setting, Band-Ore's properties cover the easterly and westerly extensions of the Ridout deformation zone, which hosts the historic Jerome gold mine.
Wakemac property -- Denton Township
Explorers Alliance Corporation has completed two drill holes on the company's Wakemac property located 20 kilometres west of Timmins, Ont. Explorers Alliance Corporation can earn up to 70-per-cent interest in the property. A narrow drill hole intercept of 0.5 metres assayed 18,757-ppb gold (0.55 ounces gold per ton). Explorers plans to commence drilling this summer. The Wakemac property is located two kilometres west of Band-Ore's Thorne property, which hosts an inferred gold resource of 440,000 ounces of gold. The Golden River zone remains open to depth.
Stillar Bay -- gold project
A total of eight drill holes were completed on the property located 200 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, Ont. Even though sulphide mineralization was intersected in all holes, the best intercept assayed 0.135 ounces of gold per ton over 0.5 metres. The company has returned the project to the original vendors.
