Maybe it was a bit confusing what I described about Digital Me. Digital Me is not something that the auction sites like Ebay would subscribe to. It is for the actual Internet shopper/browsers and is transparent to the portal sites. The digital Me stores the information required by the portal to automate the login process and to provide the information required to perform whatever transactions or activities that are in the site. It is a much larger and more beautiful enhancement to Cookies. For example, my ID and password would be stored in my NDS object for the SI site so that all I have to do is click on the SI banner on my Digital ID home page and I would be sent directly into SI without a login prompt.
