that certainly explains why the disparate views on the inflation/deflation scenarios out there.

which is it....the economy is recovering, so businesses should "invest" in capx OR the economy is still tepid sufficient that deflationary pressures are on the radar screen.

maybe he'll just stand pat for the next 6 months (in spite of the bond market) to in the hope of creating an illusion of price stability <g>
