My recall is not so good, please expound. On the other hand, this was an issue in 1980 when Reagan was elected. The Family Conferences that were to be for professionals were redirected by demands by ordinary citizens to Health and Human Services to give us a chance to testify at the state level. Those conferences were a big stepping stone for uniting people who supported the concept of marriage and family. These were the moderate-conservative Democrats who made their way to the Republican Party. mj
