OT - NFLX odds favor the stock will be a loser LT I didn't know you were looking at it from this standpoint. Does a stock have to be a LT winner like AMAT for you to consider shorting it ST? <g> Forget Blockbuster and Walmart. The biggest LT competitive threat is P2P file sharing network Kazaa. The greatest demand for DVDs is for brand new releases, which does not happen (legitamately) for several months until after cinema release. But pirated DVDs usually show up within days of the release. Kazaa is a relatively new Napster-like service operating on overseas servers that is difficult for the RIAA and its lackeys to exercise gain jurisdictional control over. But that's LT and should be of no concern to ST traders. Sam
