Cary, when you started this thread back in early 1996, you said:
- "the street had a STORY, i.e. semi equips are cyclical and the boom cycle is ending."
- "new neutral ratings, and company warnings ... have pushed many close to January and March price levels."
- "nobody knows how extreme the end of the boom cycle will be."
- "This will create a GREAT long term ... buying opportunity."
- "I will buy the good leading edge semi-equips when I can pay no more than 2 times cash and 1.5 times book!"

Things certainly have changed since you first started this thread. The doom and gloom that was evident in early- to mid-1996 has for the most part disappeared. Stock prices of many of the companies have doubled, tripled, or even more. The good times are rolling!

Questions: Do you still "pay no more than 2 times cash and 1.5 times book" to buy good leading edge semi-equips? If it's appropriate to "Buy when BLOOD is running in the streets," when is it time to sell?

The semi-equips have come a long way in a short period of time.

Best wishes,

I2
