Population is a problem of distribution across the planet.Not of the numbers, LEAVE ASIDE UNINHABITLE PLACES (Himalaias, Adeans, Deserts and Jungles) If you look to Brazil's Atlantic coast, you can see a huge concentration of people and and empty hinterland. All problems stem from this concentration of population along the Atlantic coast. Concentration of population means land prices are expensive that leads to Slums and all other social problems that come with them If you hear about water problem is because people are taking all water from a small portion of the land. Mobile operators derive 44% of the whole revenue from 1% of the Brazilian total area. an area the size of Austria and 56% of the revenues from 99% of the area of the country. The costs of transmitting electricity is gigantic as the coast is far from where the hydro power is generated. .
