It's no different than Obama mentioning George Bush every time he refers to McCain. I'm not paying that much attention, but I have noticed that both names appear in the same sentence a lot. They know what they are saying. The links and impressions that are absorbed by the 'not paying attention too much' general public are probably at least as important as anything else they put out.

Since I live in Illinois and my vote as usual doesn't count, I've lost a lot of personal interest, but what does come through is that Clinton is running against Obama, Obama is running against Bush, and McCain sounds pretty good because he's really not running against anybody right now.
