STEC, VECO Listened to the cc, didn't take many notes, but I thought the call was positive. Looking for a strong Q4, backlog good, GM to increase, flash business increasing and flash pricing is stable...only potential negative I heard was the way they handled questions regarding Q1, which after sidestepping, they seemed to indicate that they felt would be okay, but said in any event, would be more visible in approx. one month. Real disappointed that LEHM is not doing a better job today. Fortunately, VECO capitulated today...out at ~ 69 1/8 for now.
