Tekboy can't complain about thread bloat associated with the Vegas meeting. After all, the idea of the meeting began with a sincere gesture to deprogram him from his temporary lapses in short term trading. Mr. Buckley was going to hole up in some seedy motel while the rest of us, poised as reenforcements, awaited his call (via Qphones of course)in the casino.

I did learn several things from this weekend odyssey. Mainly that Mike Buckley is as curmudgeonly as most regular posters on that thread, except uf. He without a doubt is the king curmudgeon. That LindyBill is everything you would have surmised from reading his posts. He's bigger then life and a true gentleman. That Dr Id..... well ... he's a child of the 70's and suffers from the same "misspent youth" syndrome that plagues me. That mmbw is very quiet until the discussion moves to trading strategies. That Jazzesq is a pure delight and can hit a golf ball just as well barefoot as she does in shoes (she out drove UF on almost every hole). That no blackjack dealer has ever seen Wayne Newton. That for some strange reason, Edy cannot be seen on the web. Finally, I found that no matter how many strokes you give UF, you can beat him at golf. But don't EVER enter a blackjack contest with him.

It is my duty as the loser of the blackjack tournament to announce that I not only lost the tournament, but I lost the second one as well. I was the loser and believe me, this pleased Frank more then anything else the entire weekend.

In all seriousness, on the flight out to Vegas, I wondered what I had gotten myself into, meeting a bunch of strangers from the internet and all. On the flight home, I couldn't imagine meeting a nicer group of people (yea, even UF). I just wish more of you could have joined us.
