Then I am not making my meaning clear; I don't think the Lebanese government or the Israelis can reduce Hezbollah to a decent political minority party as they should be, so the international community has an opportunity to do it for them.

In the case of the IRA, the best they could do against the British Army was a military draw. Once that was clear, 30 years later, they became a political party in the political process.

Sure Hezbollah has a place in Middle East politics. Just not with rockets at their disposal. Just like the IRA and their stockpiles of Czech Semtex.
