Reasons I am not anticipating a bull market just yet:

1. Multiple indications of excessive speculative activity that does not fit with the market being at a long term bottom.

2. No extended period of basing after the long term sell off the market has experienced.

3. Apparently, from what I gathered reading the posts here, SOX has been leading this market rally. This is an unreliable leader and is usually replaced by another leader. I have seen SOX make its progress in comparatively short term segments. For this to be a longer term sustainable rally, there needs to be another leader.

4. I think there has been no apparent indication of a turnaround based on fundamental news events, like earnings reports, for this market to base its rally on.

5. This point is not as important but a related thought on my part. I think much of the impetus of this rally has been based on Greenspan and anticipation of better times based on his actions. This is just a suspicion on my part. So as a consequence, if the economy does not indicate "better times ahead" by reported news events, then this rally can stall. In other words, the market would of "jumped the gun".
