My Grandfather arrived on a freight ship as 1 teenager in 1898 and landed in the US. He became naturalized US citizen shortly after (some govt program I think) and later came to Canada to farm. He settled in southern Sask and raised a family there. Met my Grandmother in North Dakota (as kids we always believed he was a cattle rustler in those early days LOL) Somewhere I have old pictures of him with his prize teams of Clydesdale horses. I intend to visit Estonia in the next few years....just to get a taste of my roots.
