Most of the original Tillamook CPUs went into TAB packages or Intel Mobile Modules.

These packages are sold to OEMS almost exclusively since they are designed for notebook applications.

I wouldn't expect to see them in PGA packages (general availability) until the motherbaord manufacturers start supplying motherboards with 1.8 volt Vcc capability.

Bear in mind the Chip Merchant is not in the official food chain for Intel distribution. An outfit such as that would buy from an Intel distributor or authorized "dealer", or possibly buy surplus chips on the open market.
