Chris, Japan has a society wherein people are looked down upon for stepping outside the "prescribed set of guidelines". What they have found is that the lack of creativity has stifled their economy and imaginations, not to mention a higher level of stress in everyday life as people struggle to conform. weather we want to be or not, we all are individuals. We come complete with different intellects, personalities, and genetic make-ups. We can't help but be individuals, and to do anything else is to against the way that God has made us. If you think children are too young to dress for themselves, what can they possibly be old enough for? Any psychiatrist will tell you that self expression is a vital and important part of growing up and that creativity is one of the greatest stress reducers known to man. Mark
