Rick, this is really all about definitions of God. Atheists who believe in Buddhism can rightly interpret GOOD as the highest ideal, and see everything spiritual happening within the individual, not from without. Is that Godly? Maybe. Does it matter? Not to me. Why cannot God and Good by synonymous? No atheist would have a problem if that were always the case.
