The difference is that Bush is under no illusion that the North Korean regime is trustworthy. At least he is actively working the issue. Clinton just sat back and basked in the sunlight while the Carter accord fell apart.

More like desperate these days. Abandon any pretense of conservatism, get them polls back up...go to the UN and make speeches about its importance, make the deal with the pigmy asshole in NK, even aknowledge that poverty is the result of discimination...man, what's the neo-world coming to? Pretty soon bush will be making speeches on the merits of affermative action.
