Someone school me please... I haven't shorted stocks before, but it sure it tempting in some cases. I currently have an account with NDB, and was told that I needed to open a margin account in order to short. Can someone please explain how margin works? I currently have $X in an account. Does this same amount get transferred into margin? Just part of it? None of it? And how exactly does the account function once set up? Thanks for taking the time to answer... Mayor
