Some people on the hurricane thread are saying 908 mb. Also looks to me like it's taking a turn north, I think early.... though it may just be a "head fake".

We are currently getting some nice severe thunderstorms, tornado warnings and pretty heavy winds from the VERY outer bands of the monster.

"Hurricane Rita's rapid intensification cycle that began Tuesday afternoon and evening may have leveled off. Top winds at 2 AM EDT remain at 175 mph, making Rita a category 5 hurricane. Rita's pressure dramatically dropped to 897 millibars by Wednesday evening! It is now up 1 mb to 898. Even as a large and extremely intense category 5 hurricane, further strengthening is possible as the atmosphere remains favorable for development over the next 12-24 hours.
