John,

You're being a little hard on Andy. He may be shorting the market (and Intel in particular).

I completely disagree with his statements and think he believes that he's yelling fire in a theatre (ok, question his ethics).

As long as we all look at these posts with a wary eye, there is no problem with anyone saying anything.

My personal opinion is that Intel is undervalued based on its market postion and the growth I expect for the company over the next few years. I have put my money where my mouth is.

As for the overall market, after the panic - if there is any - of mutual fund investors subsides, I expect that the market will have a period of turnover. During this period I expect that investors (including mutual funds) will move toward large cap issues, particularly undervalued situations.

I would hate to be in small caps over the next few months (if I'm right).
