thus far successful, the choppy action near this barrier in the wake of the recent slide is a concern. If it is penetrated, the next support of
interest for the index comes into play in the 10,940/10,930 area.

10:29 ET Check Point Sftwr (CHKP) 58.92 -2.38 (-3.8%): -- Technical -- Unable to maintain early upside bias and has taken out an
important short term support at 59.45/59.25 (chart barrier/50 day simple ma). This penetration damages the favorable pattern that had
developed off the May 16 low and opens the door initially to support at 56.55. Important near term resistance is at 60.6.
