Of course, the news here concerns the possible results of
the Lucent/Ascend merger, Motorola's report, and most
certainly, Brazil.
(And good grief, I nearly forgot about our Senate "trial" ?? !! )
What a (censored) way to write a chapter in tomorrow's history books !!

Still wondering if Ericsson is big enough to purchase a
major ATM player, or if they will be bright enough to
purchase the next "Cascade Communications like" startup.

(Interesting that Ascend was primarily a Remote Access product
company, and now no one even mentions those products.
The primary focus is on the former Cascade Communications'
Frame Relay & ATM products. )
