<<Furthermore it is a known fact that Powell lied about the use of gas on the Kurds in his presentation as well. Our own CIA states thet the gas that killed those kurds was a type of gas used by Iran, not Iraq>. i am sorry but reject that sentence totally and in complaint confidence that total rejection that sence is correct.
There is ZERO doubt that Iraq performed that chemical attack and ifyou were to dig up the New Yorker magazine that has a long in depth articlle on that attack by journalist that interviewed in depth the survivors and did give and long accounting the events of that day, you would not have doubt either.
<was nothing more than a piece of propaganda assembled neither by intelligence staff, nor by Middle East experts, but by U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair's press spokesmen Alistair Cambell and a few low level office helpers..< and that charge is absurd. Powell was suckered, perhaps, but by top level intelligence , the CIA (who are totally capable of deceptive practices as we well know.)
That Alistair Cambell bit is a crock, worthy of the Drudge report news.
