Hmmmm, Meta, I think you're way out on a limb there. Most wars have been fought for territory and/or control of natural resources. History is dotted with isolated battles where it might be argued that religion was a major factor. Perhaps Ireland is one. Parts of the ME, too. But not the major wars.

In your mind, was there any kind of religious dispute at play in the two world wars?
