I believe religion and art are the nectar of the human species. They emerge from us like honey from bees--the crystallization of our internal alchemy. They emerge because they must, not because of our volition. That this nectar can produce strife is a byproduct of its stickiness. That it is occasionally sour comments on our imperfection. That some would insult the nectar because of its imperfection brings me psychic pain.
