True. That's why separation of powers and democracy is important.

Do you think that peaceful protesters should be met with storm trooping thugs so they can't be heard? No, and I see that during the Republican convention, protestors exercised their rights. Unlike at the Democratic convention where they were confined to a cage. That didn't seem right to me.

Do you think that the Constitution should be suspended whenever the President declares that we're at war?

In general, no. And it hasn't been.
