iMac "colors" commercial parody, take two your humble reporter just re-purposed a quicktime collage arising from an in-joke over at nobeige.com, when springtime rumors of a re-skinned all-black dvd-totin' large-tube machine codenamed "8 ball" made the rounds. since my 5-year-old twins couldn't get apple.com out of their minds' eyes, i did a few qt3 codec experiments to unearth from the sixties some doppelganger nostalgia to bide for equal time. with the advent of qt4 and better use of rendered transitions, it's a bit kinder on machines as old as some people are... importantly, the generic codename is presumably more accurate. although i don't intend to make a career out of keeping up a vanity website, you are welcome to peruse the page at: home.earthlink.net please forgive the associated text of what appears to be pompous bombast about a matter both serious and serendipitous. it's an "on notice" message for IP attorneys who might stray there to cross the red door transom. all in fun, retiarius
