In my example a single male committed adultery with a married woman. Any presumption that adultery is an outrage for others would be founded on my awareness of a moral precept. If morality were defined by what I alone deem moral (ie, existentialism), I would be acting in harmony with my belief system. That is why I'm seeking a definition of the atheist moral code. What is it based on? Again, the Golden rule seems too general and presupposes a shared sense and awareness of morality.
