Hi dad, I've been on broadband for over 7 years. The problem is no company in US is making money on it.
It's interesting that in other countries broadband and wireless companies are making lots of money. For instance in Russia people with the income of $200-400 a month pay $20 or more a month for crappy cell service and they also pay full price for a cell phone.
Here in US one can make a living by just constantly rolling over 0% balance transfer offers from credit card companies. -g/ng-
