Since the RICO act, more Intel is being used. But the FBI is still a "catch the criminal" type of operation. That is what works and is needed.

I suspect that Ashcroft piece was fair. "US News" is not a patsy. The key bit to me is that is the first explanation I have read of the "draped statues" incident. I always wondered about that. It makes sense. There are more marble nudes around Justice than you can shake a stick at. Ashcroft is not a Political idiot.
