Hi Peter,

Sounds very interesting. One possible drawback of fingerprints at this time is that the very thing that makes them useful makes them rather complex. Imagine you have stored 100,000,000 fingerprints an then in one milisecond you have to identify a given one. There are neat methods to compress and catalog this information but I don't know how fast they are. I think the FBI uses such systems for their own archives. But then they deal -hopefully- with a smaller population, and *instant* recognition is not an issue.

The beauty of DIGITAL ME- I grant you guys that at present digital me still has this invincible internectic aura, given that we really don;t have all the details on how it works- lies in its simplicity and capacity to autenticate in a very safe set up an unlimited number of users.

But even if/or when the fingerprint technology is up to par it is clear that it should be hooked to NDS! N'est pas?
