Bush, for all his empty idiocy, is deeply religious- and he probably thought God really was talking to him, and telling him to go to the ME.

Even if we could give Shrub such a pass on faith, I think we would be circumspect to ignore the probability that the voice he thought was God was actually Cheney, probably still channeling George Senior, who had originally designated that he would be Jrs Geppetto

My core hypothesis remains that George Sr has visited indescribable evil on the country at least since November 1963

The trail of crumbs is there, but one has to be willing to consider the possibilities, and weigh the evidence with an open mind

Rejecting them out of hand guarantees the history goes unreported and the crimes blameless
