Mish, Great perspective in this piece. I just forwarded to one of my right-wing-nut friends. My local Ford guy tells me that the 500 is starting to sell very well. This surprises me and I was clearly wrong about the appeal of this "boat". The Ford Freestyle is clearly Ford biggest winner, and they are still having trouble keeping them in stock. In certain regions you could be waiting 5-6 months for a Mustang. Spring sales are picking up for this again. SUV are dead at Ford. Ford actually increased pricing on the Mustang, but only by a few hundred dollars depending on the model. GT TH In my book, anyone who supports Bush is now a right-wing-nut (even if they don't have a NRA card).
