Dear nhaynes,
I KNOW you are not a lay person as to how the system works, that is why I thought you would catch my meaning of "see you at the races".
Just as an example, I had an opportunity to watch a small, local, petty, trial a short time ago. There were 38 people in the courtroom, and only ONE minority, the defendant.... "tried by a jury of your peers"????????????????? He didn't stand a chance !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was referring to MAJOR cases in my previous statement which are not defended by court appointed attorneys.........
I read a statement or speech somewhere recently, given by an attorney. He said that many times attorneys charge extra large fees to well-to-do clients, so he can afford to take care of the not well-to-do also...... I believe he was giving other attorneys tips on how to set fees..... Something to the effect that the more you charge, the more important your client thinks you are, and can boast to friends how high-priced his attorney is !!!!!!!!!!!
As I said before, it is all a game.
So you are into crafts???? Good, maybe you can come up with a "magic potion" yourself........ Can't be any more far fetched than NVID's..
Should be interesting to see what the future brings.
The best, Norma |
