it may take years ...look at japan...imo intervention by the fed will drag this recession out longer (yes i said recession)only the dynamic forces of a free market can cleanse the excesses of this bubble (credit).
but the fed keeps feeding the credit beast, at some point greenspan will get his hand bitten off.
