I agree 100% with you. The danger with the motley fools is that they give the impression that unless we buy those high-profile stocks -- Coke, GE etc. right now, we are going to miss the bus forever, and we will never forgive ourselves for that!

I guess I'll never hear them say, "Yes, Coke is a great company. GE is a great company. But your rate of return on any investment is determined by what you pay for the stock". As long as they don't say that, they are doing more harm than good to the investing public.

The way I see it, they are propagating a "Gotta buy stocks right now, or get left behind" message that a lot of investors will come to regret down the road...
