I think you should consider instead the Dec 10/ Dec 13 1999 gap getting filled. MRVC valuation is based in its transformation into a spin-off conglomerate not on the pittance of revenues it provides. With the market hosed as it is the spin-offs will be delayed or cancelled and the hype will be deflated. The new-fangled optical switches for which MRVC was going to be a lead producer are now here and MRVC isn't the first in line to the gravy train. Instead of buying the 18-26 gap in MRVC I'd look for value points on the Cisco chart.
