Pioneer's next generation DVD-ROM drive, the DVD-102, is the fastest DVD-ROM drive
available. It features 2.6 times the speed of first generation DVD-ROM technology and 24x
CD-ROM speed. This slot-load drive is compatible with multiple disc formats including CD-ROM,
CD-R and CD-RW.

32x CD-ROM Drive

The Pure CAV 32x is Pioneer's next generation CD-ROM drive. This 5.25-inch half-height drive is
among the fastest and first 32x CD-ROM drives to market. It takes advantage of Pioneer's
exceptional spindle motor design and vibration canceling techniques to operate at a high rate of 7300
rpm. Available with a SCSI or ATAPI interface, the unit also features a brushless motor for high
reliability.

DVDesigner

DVDesigner is an off-line design and planning tool that allows DVD-Video developers to organize
and manage DVD-Video assets, plan interactive logic and present various video, audio and graphic

Plasma Displays 40-inch VGA Plasma Display Panel

While other manufacturers are debuting similar flat-panel displays, Pioneer's 40-inch PDP boasts
several features and heightened performance that set it apart from all others. Beginning with its 400
cd/m2 brightness, the Pioneer unit is brighter than competitive PDP products. In addition, Pioneer's
unit is completely self-contained while maintaining an industry-leading maximum cabinet depth of
4-inches.

Pioneer's Device Bay DVD drive supports the Device Bay Interface specification, jointly developed
by Compaq, Intel and Microsoft. The slot load drive offers DVD/CD-ROM compatibility, 4X
DVD-ROM speed and 24X CD-ROM speed. The Device Bay is a modular bay containing a

It will allow users to directly plug IEEE 1394 compliant peripherals into the PC CPUs, providing
interchangeability and dynamic insertion and removal of storage peripherals.

Pioneer DVD-ROM jukebox offers the industry's first upgrade path to DVD technology. It features
470GB of data storage and high-speed performance with sustained data transfer rates of
3.4MB/second and random average seek times of less than 140 ms. Designed for archival or
multi-user applications, the jukebox is ideal for high-speed data access across networks. The
