Actually no. Some do, some don't. Some more, some less. The so-called "science" in the area of "addiction" is so filled with hearsay and myth it's equivalent to something out of the 12th Century.

But it's bound, embossed, and issued by people with enough crap on their office walls to make people like Neocon feel secure in their ignorance.

If we had reasonable legality, more accurate studies would be possible, though it's doubtful they would be forthcoming. Drug prohibition is a dawning political-not medical-issue...
