They haven't changed their policy. There were many that were discharged for refusing the Anthrax shots a few years ago while the lab was failing every quality control test given. A real sore point with myself and many others I know. I have a whole file on it. Officially, the Air Force claimed only 7 people got sick world wide from the faulty vaccines they claimed were not faulty. I personally knew 7 just on my base alone that either almost lost limbs or they thought were going to die and required lengthly hospital stays in civilian hospitals to get through it. They finally stopped the shots after enough wrote their congressman and demanded action and the serum producer was shut down and the contract awarded elsewhere. They just re-started the shots about a year ago with the new serums and I haven't heard of any problems thus far above and beyond the "normal" rates experienced by cattle ranchers etc. Of course they never admitted there was a problem with the old stuff though. I will probably have the OSI knocking on my door come Monday just for posting this. We have a gal here that caught something in the Middle East they never figured out. Only way to stop it was to shoot her up with boo koo steroid cocktail mixes. A couple yearfws later now and she can't stop packing on pounds so they are going to MEB her out of the service. Thank you for letting us kill you slowly, now go join the unemployment line. Hurry along, nothing to see here......... Of course in the military, they can cut off the wrong leg, all but kill you and you can't do anything about it. They just deny any wrong doing until all the claimants die of complications or old age. -NG- Most of the chemicals I worked around the 1st 10 years of my career are now banned and known cancer agents, Trichloroethlyne contact cleaner, various cooling oils for electronics etc. Even the jet fuel they now say is bad stuff and thus they switched to JP8 vs the old JP4. Conveniently, all record of us ever using this stuff has vanished out of our records. What VA claims??? Good Luck, Lee
