Most cops and firemen backed Kerry. Bush is anti-union and talks tough but won't fund first responders. He also calls phony terrorist threats making the cops all have to work longer without getting paid overtime. In fact Bush wants to do away with overtime pay altogether.

Bush believes in law enforcement only for his political enemies. He considers he and his friends above the law.
