Yes folks, many depressing things in the announcement. The language sounds ominous. Why is there a need to "further evaluate" the product and why is it referred to as the "proposed" product? And what about the other product which had already been scheduled for September? nothing said about that.
And does the company think it is making a comforting statement in apprising us that it is "aware that recent resignations of certain members of the Company's management team have resulted in some perceived uncertainty about the Company's direction." They would have to be pretty deep under a big and hard rock not to be aware of that.
Worse even is how Babish and Rhodes could put in years of work and effort and be so close to the fruition of hopes and dreams, of personal financial gain and also the achievement of contributing significantly to ameliorating human suffering, only to, at the last moment, make such a mess of it for themselves as well as for those of us who beleived in them as well as suffering victims of aids, cancer, etc. who may have found partial or total relief from their ordeals? What pettiness led to this? One could argue it conjures on the responsible parties a terminal case of criminal kharma. Of course, that doesn't help us investors.
Lets hope that at the least the company has learned enough to be sure they are giving a time period for product introduction which they know they can meet or beat. But it remains that we seem to have gone from a product that had been evaluated and found to be valuable to what is now only a "proposed product" which is again under evaluation. They would be better off to speak whatever the truth is that lurks behind this nonsense language. But that is the least of it since we have known for a long time that their public announcements are put out by a committee of dyslexics.
This isn't the worst of events on the human landscape but it may reflect afflictions like egomaniacal stubborness and blindness that must move lemmings over the cliffs to depths and horror unimagined because all available energy has been squandered in the service of self-absorption so intense it crushes its own virtues, like a collapsed star, a black hole, which withholds even its own light but manages to feel self-righteous as it spews devestation in all directions.
Have their own best hopes, and ours, and the possible healing of some of the ill, has this fallen largely to vanity? |
