09:39 ET Sector Watch : Early pressure in the tech arena with networking (-3.8%), Internet (-2.9%), hardware (-2.8%), semiconductor (-2.4%) and software (-2.1%) pacing the way. Also posting sizeable losses in early dealings are alternative energy, biotech, gold and broker/dealer. Sectors on the rise include: utility, oil, drug, retail, paper and insurance. 09:34 ET Centillium Comms (CTLM) 24.50 +1.24 (+5.3%): Recovering a portion of 17% sell-off experienced yesterday; much of selling attributed to concerns over loss of business if ALA and LU were to merge. Investors coming back to stock now that talks between the companies have ended.
