...the G200b will supposedly be pivotal in NVIDIA's planned fight back against the acclaim and esteem held by reinvigorated AMD's, HD 4800 series. Whilst AMD's arch-rival still subscribes to its 'speed is everything' school of thought, it realises that a broadening of its forte is necessary. Where better to start, than by raining on AMD's HD 4870 X2 parade? It is possible that NVIDIA is planning its own dual GPU solution, using the GT200b as a foundation for this and rumours suggest, that a possible September time-frame would be the prime time for an NVIDIA fight back. The 55nm G200b may, of course, be drafted in to aid its creator in more than one battle with AMD.... tweaktown.com
