Now. Now. About this ha.ha. for my outsider remark. I thought I made myself more clear. I am strictly talking about an outsider as far as Wash. is concerned. I don't think we really want an out an out outsider. gg. Some leadership, political, business or otherwise should be required. I don't care if Mr. Bush has a daddy, granddaddy or great grand daddy that is or was a President. I can think of worse things. I think that you are falling into the trap from the DEMS from way back when, when you are talking about daddy's famous: Read my lips statement. Yes. They used this incidence to the hill in their campaign back then. I guess Sr.Bush's only mistake was to trust a democrat controlled house. Read up on it. He had to compromise in order to get some kind of a plan through, I believe, and when the time came for the DEMS to hold up the end of their bargain, they did not. I can't quite remember the details. You are younger and must have a better memory. So maybe you can fill me in on the details. Also remember that things were tough back then with the Gulf war and the economy was just starting to recover. You know Abby Cohen's statement that the American Supertanker takes a long time to turn around. In times of war the best intentions may have to go by the wayside. And since when are we in the business of blaming children for their dads misgivings? I thought it was the other way around. Good grief. And then I NEVER hold it against someone just because they come from a good family. I am not rich but somehow it does not bother me when I know that my President does not need the money he gets for being a President. I don't consider it a crime being helped by my father. I rather see that than being helped by other sources. Oh yeah. Forgot. Help thyself. Uh.Uh. Forbes complaining about tactics. Now there is a laugh. Ha.Ha.Ha. Talking about tactics. I don't think it is party specific when it comes to running. gg. It could get interesting. But blaming G.W. for coming from a well to do and good family is not in my bones. Re: No, it lasted at least 2 weeks. Then some news event that I now can't remember displaced it and then it disappeared. They probably went after Bush again. And don't you consider 2 weeks quick for the press? How long were they, and still are, after Bush's unsubstantiated rumors? Why are you doubting G.W.'s tax cut intentions? He did well in Texas.
