I have no doubt that there are some who have problems for the reasons you cite. Many minimum wagers move from job to job for those reasons, although I haven't heard the one about dope on the job. But many minimum wage jobs have managers who are jerks, expect and awful lot for their $5.15 an hour, just listen to a Mikey D's employee talk about company policy, etc. Not all, Jack in the Box doesn't pay any better, but the employees I've talked to feel they are treated very well. Jason's Deli is another.
